M-sport interior trims

I really like the M-sport exterior but I would like BMW to add the red accent line and the black trim on the dash and consol like the sport line... i love the Msport steering wheel but i think those colors would improve the interior. I am sure the EBII ppl would appreciate getting the blue accent line with the black trim rather than have to choose between wood or aluminium.

You can always buy the trim pieces you want, and sell the OEM parts...

I believe that I am the only person that thinks the red/blue accent lines are horrible.

It's funny how tastes on here vary wildly. What some people think is the "best colour combination" makes me want to hurl. What many people are proud of makes me want to cringe. And no doubt there's many who would hate my choices too

They are! Looks good on pictures, may be even in showrooms, but sitting in car for while, meh...

The black finish is a fingerprint magnet, I saw one car on a parking lot and the whole front dash (passenger side) was pelted with fingerprints like crazy, it looked just plain ugly.

That why I got the burl wood. Little aluminum strip and accents, but still a luxury feel.

Carbon Fiber trim. Not flashy, and really softens up the interior. I don't like wood interiors, and aluminum is too flashy for me.

The M interior kit would be an absolute no-brainer for me if it wasn't for the "MPerformance" embroidering. It kills it.

I like the satin trim under the wood pieces, but hate the wood itself. My plan is to option the wood so I have the satin portion, then refinish the wood sections. Im thinking Alcantara or Dakota leather if possible. I have to see how the trim pieces are constructed.

Not a fan of it either, there is entirely too much "///Hey I'm an M part!" graffiti on my M Sport, but the overall aesthetic of the trim, and the tactile feel of the carbon fiber itself, outweighs the addition of yet another logo.

To me M-Sport trim looks much better than regular aluminum or black, but I prefer anthracite.

I think
for sporty look - M-Sport, maybe Hex
for classy look - Anthracite, may be Burl

Agreed, if I wanted red stitching and red trim I would have bought a WRX, or Civic Si, or Scion.

Thanks! Looks good!

---------------------------------

Ordered my Msport with Burl and 99% i am changing the trim.

Priced the complete Anthracite trim on BMWparts and comes a little shy of $850ish. M performance CF/Alcantara trim is $650 odd.

I have not seen either in person and how they may play with the Coral Red interior. BMW should offer a few more choices for the sunny parts of the world where M-sport is desired with a tiny dislike of the Aluminium.
