F80 trim for F30

does anyone know if the carbon fiber interior trim from the F80 M3 will be a direct replacement for the F30 interior trims?

Yes it will. Been waiting for the CF trim to be available.

I've seen a few pics of the f80 interior. How does it differ from the M Perf CF pieces?

The dash board blinds of the F80 are carbon only, while the M Perf. Has Alcantara on it.

Plus the CF is clear coated on the M trim giving a bit more glossy appearance. The M Perf is open poor so it has more of a matte look to it.

Also it has the ///M Performance embroidered on it which looks horrible. If it wasn't for that I would prefer it over the F80 CF trim.

Ohhh, then I would prefer the F80 version. I like the glossy clearcoat more. Seems like the unfinished CF would trap dust etc.

so i got a quote for the f80 cf trims and im not sure if i want it anymore. the cost for the cf trim from f80 for 3 pieces (driver side vent, center vent, center console) cost as much as full f30 m-performance interior kit.

yeah for that price, i'd rather get the full m-perf. plus, the f80 trim is only 3 pieces, the 2 in the front and 1 center console.. what're you going to do with the handles on the 4 doors? leave them wood?

I had the same intent initially, until I realized only a few pieces would be carbon. Compared the weave in mine to an M3/4 and it actually turned out better.

No...they'd be in the trash right now if there were. This is OEM quality stuff.
