The acquisition fee should be $725 (more dealer bullshit). Title and doc fee also seems high. I paid no title fee in NY (it was part of the DMV fees) and the document fee was $75. Unless they're including the MACO in that number (they included the MACO fee in my base price) The DMV fee should be fixed and that's easy to check from the DMV. Sounds like if you whittled them down on price they just bumped up the fees. :bs:

There's no harm in trying - a dealers goal is to throw bullshit at you, and it sounds like they're stacking an extra $600 of BS in there. If anything go to them and say "why did the first dealer have a $725 acquisition fee (which is standard) and no document fee?"
They have a lot more money padded into the price than they want to make public, and with a lease they should be happy to make a repeat customer out of you rather than to try and scheme and extra $200 on a fake fee.

So 1st dealer with perfect numbers the payment would only be 3 dollar difference vs dealer #2. Unless they give me MF of .00135 which i doubt as my credit is 695 and i have late payment on the CC's from a while back thats affecting my score. Oh BTW thank you guys for the help, I have read for hours and hours till my head hurt about leasing. I think i feel like im a leasing pro LOL. If i ever lease again i'll bring in my laptop and do the numbers in front of them.... |

Did you guys see new no 3 mo payment on your lease just announce by BMW.
We are pre approved! Car is on the sea! And I hope in addition to 0.0135 we shall qualify this too? In this case is there any advantage of putting 7MSD? As payments coming from BMW shall be low lol ???? |

Found it on google
http://www.automedia.com/Blog/post/B...Trade-Ins.aspx and 7 MSD's will lower the interest rate by 1.17%. If i did 7 msd's i'd save about 1400 at the end of 36 months and you get all your money back. If i had an extra 4200 dollars that i didn't need for 3 years might be worth it. |
