Nah, all jokes aside, I think it's pretty ridiculous if your car is still waiting in port. That would mean yet another 2 weeks added wait time? Wtf, it's not like you get the car for free, you pay good money for it. It's really ridiculous. I understand BMW has no influence in this part but, damn, this is really not right

I probably asked him too soon, I read somewhere it can take up to 12 hours for the BMW system [that dealers have access to] to update. Hopefully he contacts me early next week to tell me that I am on the rusty Asian.

I will keep you all informed, say a prayer facing Bremerhaven for me.

Well, that much is true indeed. My dealer didn't know for sure until the Monday after the Tortugas left (which was also on Saturday). Give it a few more days to be entirely sure

(and what's more, just like with my car/ship, the Asian King also does not show any bimmers loaded onto it on the tracking site, so who knows..)

we just pushed off from England now the long journey through the Panama Canal to California, only 23 more days until we port in California! (April 4th)

Just got word from the ASIAN KING, they are serving General Tso's Chicken tonight. Let's burn some extra fuel and push full steam ahead!! (we are currently 1 day ahead of schedule!)

EDIT: Oops, there is a new itinerary then I originally posted...we are making a quick stop in Belgium, so we are on schedule!
