Lightbulb Does F30 6MT have CDV like e90?

Does the manual f30(328 specifically) have the clutch delete valve mod that e90 owners did?

Thanks

Even my E36/7 has a CDV, I think it has been a consistent BMW staple. My F30 sure felt like it had one.

I don't see it here--at least the E90-series type. It might be part of #13 hose or integrated into the output cylinder.

Supposedly it's integrated. No modification available as of now.

I'm not an expert on CDVs, but I have no complaints with the F30 clutch after installing a clutch stop (BMS). I don't notice any weird lag between clutch action and engine response.

+1. I had the CDV removed on my e90 and upgraded to the Rouge Engineering Short Shifter because I hated the CDV delay and the long throw of the e90's shifter. My only modification on the F30 was the BMS clutch stop and I love the F30 shifter. I don't feel any CDV delay in the F30 so I assume it was removed or modified so as to not cause the long delay it did in the e90.

This is a surprise! I wonder why BMW took it out.

Good question. I finally had the CDV removed from my 2006 E90 330i several years ago, and honestly I couldn't tell the difference. I've driven manuals all my life and had the hardest time adjusting to the clutch engagement from 1-2 when I first bought it and assumed it was the weird-cadence courtesy of the CDV.
