2015 BMW 435i xDrive Convertible in Tanzanite Blue & European Delivery

Just ordered a 2015 435i xDrive Convertible in Tanzanite Blue for European Delivery! I currently have a 2012 335is convertible on lease, which expires in April, 2015. I've never done European Delivery before, and am looking forward to planning the trip. The car should be ready in early March; I guess I'll need to look at the weather for Germany at that time of year, as my order has the low profile mixed performance tires on the 19" 442 hubs (orbit grey).

I will miss the DCT of my 335, but I like the new tech, styling, and 4wd.

it shifts almost as quick as DCT so you won't miss much. congrats I did the european delivery too!

My dealer looked at the options sheet and didn't see Tanzanite Blue. Did you order it as BMW individual? What was the upcharge? I ordered a 435i cic (white with black interior) for ED in April, but saw a 7 on the floor today in Tanzanite Blue and was blown away. I'd love to get it on a convertible.... either with Oyster or with the individual nutmeg if it wasn't too outrageously expensive.

I'm working on ordering a 435i GC with Tanzanite Blue paint and trying to get Nutmeg interior. The Tanzanite Blue paint is the same as if you configure a 535i online...yes it's an individual paint and costs $1,950....they are currently saying Individual Interior Leather is not available in the U.S. but i'm working to try and get Nutmeg approved...will let you know how it goes...I'm thinking if i can get it done at all the upcharge will be $2,500 over Dakota Leather...but not sure of that at this point.

ED2d, yes, I did a BMW Individual and ordered Tanzanite Blue. Charge was $1,950.

I tried to do the same thing, but learned that one can order the paint but not the interior. BMW is not making Individual available on the 3/4 in the U.S.

Too Funny! I'm planning on ordering (almost) the same car/color. Love the T Blue as it's kind of dark. Going with the red leather interior. Just trying to confirm I can get the 2 weeks off in July for the pickup! If not, I'll be waiting a year~

Interesting, production started on my car on/around March 13th, I wonder if you saw my car! Delivery is scheduled for April 17th.

Be sure and post pics! Can't wait to see your car...my delivery is not till 6/29 ended up going with Tanz. Blue and Oyster as well on my 435 GC...have an awesome trip!!

...you could be a lucky guy. Weather forcast says that we will get real spring as from this weekend, so it might hopefully keep till next week. We will do a nice convertible tour next saturday 11.apr. So enjoy your time in bavaria (i'm living 100 miles far from Munich).

I will do, the car just went to "production ends" status today, very exciting!

I turned in my 2012 335is convertible yesterday (lease end). A sad day...

I strongly considered Tanz Blue for my 435 'vert last year
went black (Azurite) instead, but I think the Tanz would be more "fun"

You are correct. I am fortunate enough to only use the BMW in the summer. My winter wheels are a 2014 Volvo XC-60 R-Design with the Polestar tuning enhancements. Not too shabby either, I am a lucky man!
