Hi every one, do any one know if the h/k speakers are of better quality more hommes than the standard bmw set of speakers, and does the h/k have a hidden amplifier any where. I only have a standard set up in my car and thought i could up rate the system with h/k speakers.

Extra amplifier in the boot, updated digital processing stage, more and better speakers.

A significant package I'm afraid...

If retro fitting you can get a better system than the HK for much cheaper!

Best option is probably the gladen kit with mosconi amp that davethefish fitted.

Have to say the HK in my current 5 series has been awful. With certain frequencies the speakers on the L and R doors rattle like buggery. They did change one speaker part. I couldn't be bothered with any more as I am getting a new motor in Nov. All in all I was less than whelmed.

Don't forget the HK subwoofers under each front seat.
