I think it's been alright, the celeb bit is rubbish but thankfully with it being on Amazon you can quickly forward through that bit. I think 4 was the worst episode so far, the "non-scrpited" part was a bit pointless and silly.

Just watched 3 and 4. Quite good all in all.

However, wonder how long it took them to put the script together of the "unscripted" piece.

Episode 4 was a bit crap. Really don't like the celebrity races. Skipped that part every week so far.

Episode 3 best for me so far.

Just finished Episode 7 and I must say I've fairly enjoyed the last few. They seem to have settled on a decent format overall. It's quite amusing, they don't labour the contrived jokes too much, and there's plenty of actual car stuff.
If they keep this up I will be very happy.

So that's about 5 episodes in a row that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Apart from the celebrity bit it feels like they are almost back at how Top Gear was at its peak.

I always skip the celebrity part no matter who they have.

Its not piped in, i went to the filming of it and they 'request' that you give it the beans as an audience member, particularly when they walk in. All a bit cheesy really.

I was there for episode 3, decent show, the car park stuff was good as was the Kia race.

Im getting into it again now. It appears they're improving it weekly, just in time for the series to end.

Agree it is improving a lot, I even watch the studio bits now!

It works when they do a decent feature with some funny bits thrown in, it doesn't work when they set out to make a funny feature!

Yes I think you're spot on. If the initial idea for the feature is good then everything else follows. Be car nuts first and the natural chemistry brings the laughs, whereas trying so hard just to be funny ruins it.

Watching this week's atm, and as you can tell i’m on my ipad so i’m not enjoying it much! Just silly from the very start, why do they bother!?

agreed this one will completely pointless, the whole smoking the fish thing was cringey and obviously only done so the exhaust was moved above the water line when tbey crossed the river - enjoyed a couple of eps this time round though.

Yep, I actually gave up on it completely half way through! Not a good end to the series!
