It was seeing your ED photos that convinced me that the dark blue with beige interior. When I saw the Individual options for the M-Sport in that combination it just had to be. So, really it's thanks to you for sharing your photos first

I think I saw an X1 in this color on my way home from work. Very unique, nice color. Could tell even while driving alongside of it (if in fact it's the same color...),

It really is a beautiful colour and one you have to see to fully appreciate. In the 5 days I've had the car I've had plenty of people admiring it. I love it

love the close up of the metallic flakes, you can't see that at a distance.

It's the flakes that make the colour so special. At a distance you don't get the same effect but up close the light bounces off each one of those flakes to give it an awesome sparkle.

I've had the car just over a week now and I'm still finding excuses to pop out to have another look at it. It really does look absolutely stunning and I don't think it will ever be a car that is just a car to me, it will always be a car that is going to make me want to keep looking.
It's just as great inside as it is outside. I just love everything about it

Every time I look at the TB photos, I let a bit of wee out. I just wish I'd ordere an "individual" car now Actually not feasible on a lease car because it would kill the monthyl payments but as soon as I fund my own BMW, I'll be going individual and loading the sucker

I saw a 640 at my local dealer in TB.....it really is a lovely colour, much more so in the flesh.
The fleck really pronounces the creases in the metal work.....beautiful. |

Really like the steering wheel. Wonder if it can be retrofitted to my F10.

That Colour
The longer I spend with the Tanzanite colour the more it surprises me - depending on the ambient light levels sometimes it is a dark inky blue, almost black, sometimes a vibrant light blue, then a kind of purple and in some light it has a golden sparkle to it - very strange.
I don't think any photograph could do it justice, you have to see it in the flesh.

When you try and explain it to people it never quite comes out right because there is so much depth and shades in all different levels of light. The photos never bring out the best, it is a colour you need to see to fully appreciate the delicacies of it. 9 days on from getting my car and I am still amazed every time I look at it.
