Just had my 2014 in for its first service and since I got it back, whenever I get a call waiting call, the call switches from the car to the phone and there's no way to get it back on to the car speakers unless I hang up and start the call over. Running 4.4.3 on T-Mobile HTC One M8.
So annoying! |

i had this issue before
Are you runnign custom ROM? if you dont lock your screen (leave it on the home screen with the screen ON) does it still have the issue? if it doesnt its the exact same issue as what i had with my note 3. Solution is to Root it and download an app called setcpu and bump the MHz Min one or more notches up with trial and error until the issue goes away. my min was 300 and it went away at 652Mhz |

Interesting fix... I'm rooted but running conservative mode... I can raise my minimum CPU to anything.... sooo I should try this? Is there any documentation stating it's a CPU issue? I thought it's a compatibility issue with our i drive software? |

Last couple of posts. This is for the Note3 though (which i use and had the same issue). but if you search around XDA a lot of phones have this issue and the same fix. Bump the min CPU up. This happened with my sister's HTC one m8 paired with an aftermarket head unit in a Toyota, i applied the same fix and the issue never came back. |
