F30 M-Sport M6 Paddle Install
Order a set of M6 paddles for my F30 a couple weeks ago. Got my car back from the shop today after 5 months of in and out. New steering rack and roof dents fixed the car is back to brand new.
Anyway as soon as I got home I put the paddles on, took all of 30 minutes. I will add a small write up later if any are interested it was very simple and well worth. |

But long story short, remove the airbag and the screw holding the paddle in place. Instead of actually removing the paddles entirely components and all, just use the existing connections. One small cylindrical pin holds the connection to the paddle. Just push it out and replace the paddles themselves only not the electronic connections. I did it this way because it was easier than trying to remove the connections from the existing F30 paddles and I had read on some forums that using the connections that come with the M6 paddles may result in the + paddle shifting down and vice versa with the - paddle. Not sure if this was true to mine because I used the existing F30 connections. |

My friend drove my car over a curb around ~40 mph and the roof caved in by the sunroof. The insurance people said this happens all the time in weak spots on the roof with a strong enough impact.
Yes they are, I bought them used but they look perfect. |

Tbh I didn't really even get a chance to drive with them yet. I installed them when I got home and my fiancee took my car to work this morning so I could take her loaner in and pick her car up. |

Sadly it was actually a lifelong friend so we are still friends. The total bill in damages alone ended up being around $10,500 but that also included a nice new set of HRE FF01s for me That amount doesn't include cost for a loaner for about 3 months either.
