I like both in Msport, but it seems this generation looks better with and need the aftermarket accessories. The coupe is growing on me, but I would prefer the sedan tails on the coupe, I absolutely hate the shape of the tails on the coupe.

My point is that an M badge on an M-sport with some additional hp and enhancements over the other lines is not out of place. A true M car will always be known for what it is by car people - for the rest of the population - they could care less. For these people, my wife included - they don't know the difference between an M3 or an X3 - its just a car. |

I didn't put the M-performance stickers that I got with the PPK on though - so I have some restraint! Anyway enjoy your M3 - it is an awesome ride! I am sure you have taken it around the Ring - lucky guy! We really don't get much chance to exercise our cars here in North America with low speed limits and heavy policing. |

There might be a significant difference when viewing the two cars in person... But just looking at these pictures so two cars that are basically the same

There are a lot of good parts to choose from. Some I don't like much like the add on side skirts, strips.
Reading about the chassis and how much stiffer the coupe is compared to the sedan, this is a great platform for the M4. I think there will be some real upside to power and torque with aftermarket tuning with the new M4. |

so amazed by the very little effort BMW has put into introducing a "supposed to be" evolutionary 4 series instead of just copying pretty much the 3 series...less 2 doors!
Don't get me wrong...it's not a disappointing car on its own...but they had this great opening chance at coming up with something much more revolutionary and appealing to completely wipe out the rivals...but what a "Me-too" !!! I remember the initial concept design was a bit more promising... oh welll...maybe I'm wrong. I was waiting for the grand coupe version (4 door 4 series)...but it really doesn't give me a very different car than my 3 series...so no incentive! |

is it just me or do you guys also think that the M performance wheels are much nicer and creative than the factory wheels on the real M models. e.g. the M5/ 6 wheels, very dull IMHO but if the real M models would come with the M performance wheels, there would be no need for aftermarket! just my thoughts...
