BMW office not working after BlackBerry 10.2.1.3062 update?
I did the most recent software update on my Q10 and ever since then I haven't received any emails in the car. I've deleted and re-paired the phone a few times and also done a few battery pulls and it still does not work for any email messages or sms. I've also checked the advanced Bluetooth settings on the phone when it is paired to the car and it shows that all of my email accounts are connected, yet no messages appear on the iDrive screen in the car. For reference the car is a 2013 328i. Everything was working fine prior to the update.
I posted this on the BlackBerry support forum and CrackBerry forum and I think it might just be my phone from some of the responses I received, but figured I would check if anyone here is having the same issue after doing the OS update.

May I recommend ditching the blackberry for an iphone or android? No one will support blackberrys anymore, its on its last breath so any issues you run across will be mainly ignored and never fixed

I didn't check 10.2.1 latest update on my work (Enterprise Server) Q10. But I upgraded to a DEV build of 10.3.1.1151 and it works perfectly. No issues to report so far. This build can be load to your Q10 without an issue also works on the Z10 if anyone wants to try.
http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...oaders-976478/ On the older 10.2.1 i used to have NBT reboot issue, which is gone away after 10.3.1. Also 10.3.1 adds support for Amazon app store with android apps. No need to side load bar files if you need some android apps. Give it a try and see. Quote:

I've reloaded the OS using Sachesi and still no luck. Going to try and reboot my iDrive next to see if the issue is with the car. If not I might try using a different version of the OS. Will report back after.

I rebooted the iDrive and unfortunately that did not solve the problem. Going to look into using a different version of the OS and see if that solves it.
Just wondering if anyone with a Q10 using 10.2.1.3062 can confirm if their office emails and sms messages are working.

Thanks for the info. I assume the office function works fine on your Passport?

Thanks. I still think it is something related to this most recent BlackBerry OS update as everything worked perfectly for me prior to the update. Hopefully the next OS update will fix it.

When was the last time your car had a software update from dealer? Even though CIC is now legacy, BMW occasionally updates Nav firmware and Combox MN/TN software versions in their almost monthly updates to dealers.
Keep in mind that the BT MN/TN software versions available on the www.bmw.com/update site are OLD. Way older than what you'd get if your dealer installed 53.5 or 54.0 on your car.

I can tell you with NBT, In March BMW was pushing firmware Rev G, then in July they went to H and in November they moved to I.

I have a Z10 and I think it's your BlackBerry software. Try reverting back. Do full backup, wipe phone and reload with latest OS from your carrier.

Just as an update, I finally got around to doing a full wipe and restore. This seems to have fixed the issue as I am now receiving emails and text messages again in the car.
Thanks everyone for your help. Happy that I can once again legally view my emails and text messages in the car when I'm stopped in traffic |
