328D Wagon Delivery

Phew! A long day at the dealership but finally got done, took delivery of my 328d M-Sport Wagon and loving it so far! Everyone wants pics so that is what ill focus on!

Came in on thursday and picked it up on Friday, absolutely love the car so far and I've put on over a 100 miles so far, such a blast coming from a Lexus.

Afterwords went to EDK in Sonoma (one of our favorite places to eat) and had a wonderful meal and drinks, Dirty Martini, Caviar, and a Lamb tasting, i know food pics have nothing to do with my car delivery but it was all part of the experience.

Love the looks of the wagon. If bmw offered a 335 wagon in the US, I would be first in line. A true sleeper. Enjoy it. Thanks for posting.

i will get some more of the coral red interior when it comes back from getting the clear bra, i have to wait till the 11th of July to get the tint done. I only go to Rocky Mountain Window Tint in Livermore and there is always a wait to get it done!

Did you consider the gas version before going with the diesel?

I am seriously thinking about the diesel, but I am afraid it won't have enough power.

We did drive the gas version, for us it was a couple of things....

Resale value on the diesels is a bit better.

Gas mileage obviously, we are about 85 highway 15 in terms of percentage driving. So it was a no brainer.

And i guess the last was just being kind of european in a sense, we liked the "quirkiness" of the diesel and that it was unique.

Now reasons that the Gas is better, much better performance and power delivery has a fun factor the diesel can't match, its less expensive though the eco credit does bring the difference down, i also prefer the sound of the gas engine to the diesel.

I would certainly drive the wagon with the diesel, the X-Drive and wagon configuration certainly add a lot of weight and doesn't make it a barn burner, but drive it back to back and weigh your options, either way its a great looking machine!

I have yet to test drive a 328d, I need to check out the local dealer. Diesel would be nice to have with that torque rating and fuel costs.

Finally got the car tinted today, looks so much better, no more fish bowl, 5% in the back and 50% in the front, i know its dark but there is a lot of window as well, just my preference. You can also see what it looks like from the inside. Enjoy.
