You should not be claying that often because it is an abrasive. That means it scratches your paint when you use it. It's taking off iron contaminants because that's its' job but that doesn't mean it's good to constantly use on your paint because it is an abrasive. If scratching and marring doesn't bother you that's fine - clay as often as you want.

Generally, you only need to clay the car when it needs to be clayed.
