My F30x Estoril Blue Build

Hey guys,

Finally joined the BMW family back in February when I picked up my EB F30x. Although I loved the car stock, the mod bug got the better of me shortly thereafter. I've learned a heck of a lot from the forums here and I can pay it forward as I update this tread!

Chrome kidney grills out and Gloss Black in. Looks much better with the Shadow trim.

Kidney grill swap is like a rite of passage on F3x forum!!! You ain't in the club til you have de-flowe....I mean de-chromed the 3er!!

Ha! Luckily it was only the kidney grills and not the entire trim (windows/doors). Part of the club now with no plans of going back.

It's the High Kick style Trunk Spoiler and I got it from ebay seller xpert4tuning. I was a bit hesitant at first, but for the price it seemed worth it especially considering that it was already painted. That said, I might respray the clear coat when I do my future exterior mods. Nothing wrong with it, but would hate for it to fade and could lump it in with other pieces to save $$.

Took the time to remove the front plate bracket last week to assess the damage to the front bumper. Four holes (which are not even symmetrical) so bumper plugs are out of the question. I can't understand why dealers continue to do this with plenty of other options available that are fully reversible.

I was quoted $400 by a local reputable shop to fix it and was told they would need to paint the whole bumper. I much prefer the clean look but I can't justify that (at least not yet) so I went ahead and got this.
