Not sure if yours and/or all 530d's are the same but with my two the initial throttle response has a small delay before all the power comes in which I am assuming is turbo-lag.

This is probably the only thing that has distracted from 2 other wise perfect cars.

The F30 320d I test drove had no delay, more like a non-turbo petrol engine which felt superb so I am hoping the 330d twin power will respond more like that.
S2000jan,
Any thoughts / views on the above quote yet ?

It's Deep Sea Blue, a metallic. Looks nice if you can keep it clean.

Hi,

Congratulations for your 330d!

What's the medium consumption?

Do you consider this F30 much confortable than the E90?

Yep it's an M Sport, 330d in Estoril Blue II. The only extras I've added are xenons and heated front seats.

Well, haven't been driving a lot since delivery (420 km in 10 days)

Fuel consumption is 6,9 liters/100km

I'm not sure the fuel consumption is really what everyone is overly interested in...... I suspect there's more to a 330D than how much juice it drinks....!! 😁

How about for starters:

1) Ride on comfort / sport settings.
2) Steering on comfort / sport settings.
3) Throttle response / turbo-lag from the twin power 30d.
4) Road noise
5) Quality of HK system.

+ anything anyone else would like to know.

Not sure but I think that equates to roughly 40mpg ?

thanks for calling me a 'dude'

I'm definitely not a woman !
On that quote, these forums are 100% male are they not? I think women would be more facebooking than talking about cars in forums. Every time I see a BMW on the road and no xenons I get closer and see the driver to be female. Why can't they see the beauty in cars but they see the beauty in shoes (who cares about shoes????)

+ anything anyone else would like to know.
1) comfort: ok but the suspension is a bit noisy (when taking 'bumps') / sport settings: well .... the difference is noticeable and good; did not 'cut corners' enough yet
2) Did not yet experienced a lot of differences between comfort/sport settings regarding steering (I have VSS); it is good
3) Again, not enough km's yet to assess this .... it seems ok
4) A reasonably quite car
5) Need to put my favorite music on the harddrive ...

Looks very similar to Mystic blue in that pic. But I think its darker in real life. Looks good anyway, you don't see a lot of DS Blue usually it carbon black or titan silver.

I know you are hoping for good mpg when you get the new car... it will be a bit less in the touring...

You'll have to drive pretty light to get into the high 40's.
