I'm having concerns about the way the USB port on my 328i has been working. When I connect it to my iPhone, i'm able to play music via spotify/pandora/etc... However, i've noticed that every few mins, the USB connection drops and I have to reconnect it by pressing the clickable wheel. Does anyone else had this problem? During my last service I took it to the dealership and they updated the software, but still the same issue. Please let me know if there is a fix for this. Thanks in advance!

have you tried using a different usb wire? try that to eliminate whether the issue is with the USB hub or the wire itself.

next, try a different iPhone if possible

I have tried a different iphone and issue is the same. I haven't tried a different cable. The cable i'm using is the original apple cable. I will try another cable and see if the issue still exists. Thanks for your response!

I tried a different wire... the issue seemed to reduce... it lost connection once.
