Maybe one for @shawnsheridan watching the new M3/M4 videos I noticed a nice rev counter on the HUD:

Can we enable this on non M cars?

you cant enable it on non M cars........you need the M-Kombi to be able to do this. a lot of retrofitting is involved.

I think the Kombi has different hardware on the bottom. Not the entire Kombi.

The M_HUD, well its between the KOMBI and the NBT that feed the data to the HUD. The HUD is a "dumb" device, like the screen on your notebook (for example).

I have seen reference to the M_HUD in the coding now I wonder if it requires a different firmware to do so and if so can we flash our Kombi or NBT with the required Firmwares.

I was hoping @shawnsheridan could confirm, I know this HUD type has been available on the M6/M5 for ages so its not a new thing....

A lot of retrofitting? Would it not just be the same retrofitting as the Non 6WA to 6WA>

As @carzaddict wrote, this is M HUD, which requires M Kombi. I am not sure how functional M Kombi would be in a non M car.
