Odd IHKA vent behavior

Is this normal for F30's??

I would think both left and right side front vents would operate the same. Or is my car special in some way?

It's suppose to be like that. A passenger should have no ability to control air flow to the windshield.

there's only one physical vent to the windshield. makes sense that there isnt that function for the passenger button.
