Same thing happened to me. Yesterday, it said in the body shop with a completion of 11/8, the previous day! Today, it says the car is finished. The website still shows production started. There is a lot of room for improvement

So thats two days earlier than they told you when you called a couple days ago?? I just called & mine says completion by 11/15 so it might happen faster like yours. My CA told me yesterday he thought my car would be here by EOY which I don't see happening.

Mine still says released to carrier. I hope it gets to the port soon maybe i'll have a chance and the car will be on the 11/16 boat. It should get to Georgia on 12/12. I hear it can take up to 10 days to clear and then it is shipped to the dealers. Does anyone have any estimated transit times from Brunswick to Houston?

check the boat schedule for MOL website. Most of the 335i built from SA is shipped to Germany by them.

Peter

I think you just recently learned your car is an SA build? Are you sure? Did CA confirm its a 133T production coming from SA or does VIN have an "N" in 11th digit? Trust me your CA can confirm. Cars coming from SA says SA at end of model designation in the BMW dealer system.

Even if your car makes the 11/16 ship from SA (assuming there is one departing then) I HIGHLY doubt you will get the car by 12/20. SA takes 30-45 days on water (45 days when the boat stops in Germany and offloads your car) then there's another 3-7 days for VPC to process before trucking to dealer (assuming you did not order any VPC installed parts such as black grills, performance brakes/exhaust, etc).

Just thought I'd give you a heads up so you can plan. Check with your CA to be sure.

Yes the vin is right and the 11th is "N". Im in NC if it matters, Its just i want to be locked in the rates and holiday credits before i leave the country. Maybe i'll go in and sign all the paper work before i leave if the car doesn't show up. No extra add ons on the car.

No need. Just work with your CA to contact BMWFS and they will lock in rates and credit you holiday rebate.

I thought the boat was loading until later today. I am sure they know what cars will be loaded but wouldn't that be updated until after it loads?

I just called the sales manager at my dealer and he said the system still shows it is at the port. Dam* I really hope it made it on just that the system is not updated. I don't think I can make it another two months.
