WeissLicht LED Turn Signal Bulbs Installed on my F30

Hi everyone,

Here are some pics in case you are curios to see how to install the turn signals on a F30 (2014 335i Xdrive M Performance Edition). There is small access cover that will give you access to the headlight compartment. Just turn counter clock wise (the white one) and it is super easy to replace them.

The change is definitely worth it; so far I don't have any flickering or errors with this model (the weisslicht) so strongly recommended. They look so much better than OEM, I will have to post a video later because the iPhone camera doesn't really capture the difference.

Any questions just let me know!

Don't you have to disable the voltage checking else it thinks the bulb is burnt out?

No for this ones, that is the reason why I decide to get them. So far not a single problem but I just installed them today. If anything happens will keep you posted.

So the one on our left is led in the pic, while right is stock bulb? I love how quickly the leds light up relative to incandescent bulbs. Also, no annoying amber reflection when you take a pic!

Why does it look like only the lower half of the lens is lit on the right side?

Can you take a good 5 minutes of night time video (or in dark garage) and put on fast forward to show if there are any flash/blink issues?

And repost the link to where you got these please.

Look legit!!!

But if I was down to my last $160 bucks, I'd get the SPECTRUM LED foglights instead.

Someone needs to buy all of these and write a report!

So a couple days later still error free?
Flicker free too?

This would be the first error free LED's I've read about so far.

Promotional video from WeissLicht looks impressive. They make tail/brake lights too?

I'm also curious whether you're having problems now that it's been a couple of days. And where'd you buy the bulbs?

I wonder if these work on rear turn signals and brake lights... Case and point, F32 4-series.

so quick update:

1. They are error free, I have not get any message in the car.

2. Really like the looks, specially because you get rid of the permanent orange bulb and they are really bright.

3. The bad is: confirmed they flicker (@ once per minute); super quick and hard to notice. Other thread indicated has to do with code and the car checking for burnt bulbs. Because LED is more effective and clearly more sensitive it will flicker.

4. However this bulb come with lifetime warranty, so in case it gets affected by the flickering it's nice to know it will be replace.

I will get the video later so everyone can see the flickering, have to take it at night because during the day is not that easy to look at it.

They do have an option for the back; however only available in amber or white. I'm waiting for a red one since apparently the white one tends to come a little pinkish.

anyone going to order the LED foglights?

Weisslicht says they are purely cosmetic and not good at projecting light for true foggy conditions... but, heck. we turn them on to look cool when there's no clouds in sight.

I'm dying for an evaluation of these LED foglight bulbs

I was tempted but at that price and already being warned is mostly "cosmetic" looks I think I can get way more out of my money with a set of error free hids for the fogs
