When can we order the new 3?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com When can we place orders for the new 3? When would we get them? I don't know if I can go 3+ months without driving a BMW! Thanks (Also how do we delete threads?) |

Production starts on Monday, so you should be able to order or pre-order an F30 already. You won't get a car before the official market launch on February 11th, though.
(Let me know which thread you're referring to and I'll delete it) Best regards, south

My wife (you gotta love her) said-"just get that damn M3 you've always wanted". But that is not the most practical thing in todays economy or with gas at $4.00gal . Thanks |

I was under the impression it would be late December or January before the US was able to order the F30. I don't have any evidence to back that up beyond what has been speculated here for months.
I'm anxious to order one too, and I've already asked my CA to let me know the moment we can order it.

Sorry guys, just curious, maybe I'm missing something. What do you get for ordering the first car of the line?? if no deliveries begin before the summer (theoretically), what would you gain from ordering 8 months in advance?

Pretty simple, you get your F30 faster. If you wait longer, there will be a longer line of cars that need to be produced for people who ordered before you did.

I took the Munich factory tour today, along with at least two other board members.
I saw one F30 getting assembled, and another being painted. I could tell by the rear quarter panel tail light shape. Also, A lot of parts bins with F30 designations. However, all cars we saw being completely assembled were still E90 or E91. And they were cranking out hundreds! |

Hey guys, I live in Phoenix and called up all the dealerships. None of them actually have the pricelist or any information in addition to what we already know from press releases from Europe. UK's BWM website has released pricing information. The dealers said that they'll probably start taking orders sometime in Dec/Jan.'
I am in the same boat. My Honda is dying... multiple problems for a honda and I can't wait to get rid of it and buy my very first car ever! - N PS - I really hope some of the line (modern, sport & luxury) options are not exclusive I hate what BMW has done. They've segmented their customer base by offering exclusive options depending on the line. |

Any dealer will gladly hold onto $500 to hold your spot in line, then they'll gladly charge you MSRP for the 'privilege' of getting one of the first cars. I pre-ordered an S2000 more than a year before they arrived, only to have the dealer offer to sell it to me for $10k over sticker. Thankfully that dealer went out of business a few years ago, otherwise I'd still be holding a grudge.

Are we reading the same thing? It was a Honda S2000, and no, I didn't pay a third of the price of the car for the privilege of owning one of the first ones. I had a written agreement with the dealer for MSRP, but the dealer was sold two months before the car arrived. I bought my M Coupe for near invoice instead and never got an S2k, which I still sort of regret.
