Help - Lost bluetooth sync for iPhone music
I use my iPhone bluetooth sync for listening to music every day.
When I got in the car this morning, the Bluetooth sync was not working JUST FOR MUSIC. The Bluetooth sync for my phone, contacts, etc. was working just fine. I opened iDrive and could see in the attached image that the phone was indeed connected via Bluetooth, but the music icon was greyed-out indicating that function wasn't operating. I restarted the car and restarted the phone several times, but I'm getting the same result. Ideas or help most appreciated! |

Has happened to me as well. Usually, turning the car off then on fixes it. Rarely, I've had to forget the phone and relink it in the connection menu to get it to work again.

My experience is that if you plug your phone in via usb cable to simply charge, it turns off the bluetooth streaming function. There is then a setting to turn it back on without having to re = pair the phone. It's a pain that it does that..
