OBD dead

My first post
please help, I have a F32 435d 2016 and I was putting a OBD plug relocation cable in and it shorted out my OBD plug(spark and then nothing), (idiot I know), now when I plug in the OBD reader it does not power up(it worked previously), I assume it is fused, I have tried the OBD fuses 18,28,42 all are good, do any of you know what other fuses might feed the OBD port, BTW the car runs fine with no warning lights,
thanks in advance.
hopefully I have posted this in the correct place.

A spark normally means your shorted out something. You probably shorted out the plug and fried it

Thanks I will check the plug later today, I just thought that it should have a fuse to protect it and if someone knew if there was another fuse elsewhere.

Just checked the OBD plug and wiring and all looks ok, checked voltages and I get a good ground but no 12v, there must be another fuse that supplies this plug other than the 18,28,42 thats in the fuse sheet, please any ideas.

Have you checked fuse 12 on the FEM? That is what I see as supplying 12v to the OBD socket.

Thumbs up

Saved my a** as well. I fried my fuse with a bad e-net cable and had no clue that there were fuses on the FEM module.

Thank you!!
