OBD dead
My first post
please help, I have a F32 435d 2016 and I was putting a OBD plug relocation cable in and it shorted out my OBD plug(spark and then nothing), (idiot I know), now when I plug in the OBD reader it does not power up(it worked previously), I assume it is fused, I have tried the OBD fuses 18,28,42 all are good, do any of you know what other fuses might feed the OBD port, BTW the car runs fine with no warning lights, thanks in advance. hopefully I have posted this in the correct place. |

A spark normally means your shorted out something. You probably shorted out the plug and fried it

Just checked the OBD plug and wiring and all looks ok, checked voltages and I get a good ground but no 12v, there must be another fuse that supplies this plug other than the 18,28,42 thats in the fuse sheet, please any ideas.
