Brake Caliper colors

Hey guys--

SO i know painting calipers are kind of frowned upon here, but my grey unpainted brembos are pretty freaking rusty, and with my new wheels the brakes are kind of an eye sore.

I really like the phoenix yellow (my car is imperial blue) I think it would be a cool contrast--and still look OEM.

any other ideas? colors?

Pic of my car right now:

I think it's fine, so long as it's done correctly and looks clean. It's better than those damn covers!

I think black or even a bronze/gold would look good.

I liked the orange and EB combination but hated how pale the OEM color of the m perf brakes were. So i powder coated my brakes to my liking.

Color : Candy Red Orange

I put my time in searching throughout the years lol this is exclusive to my car and color.

But thanks for that thread, yellow seems to be popular

I would also recommend copper color-style, at those small calippers red would be overdone...unless you want people to point at that fact

It's a high temp engine metallic color.

Burnt Copper
SP402

I get mine at Advance Auto Parts but I'm sure your FLAPS should stock them.

Hope it's ok to link this...

I appreciate that info thank you!

I am currently working on a possible service with a buddy and an amazing fab company he works for, who are seriously looking into powder coating car parts. They fab literally anything as they do concert/festival/event fabrication work and make and create just about anything you can imagine.

My buddy is their lead designer and fab guy, and they are very interested in expanding out for more powder coating work. Once I have solid info I will post it here, but very likely I will be customer #1 for their powder coating automotive calipers. 8)
