This seems too hard.

Can you restore to factory defaults, and then set TFL_MODUS = drl_s, and tell me if you get DRL's front and Rear, and which part of the Rear lights up if any?

IS there a way to make the folding mirror fold in with the Key FOB without having to hold the button? Just instantly as the door closes?

I didn't get you. What do you mean "This seems too hard"? Meaning, there is an easier way to set rear DRLs using TFL_MODUS=drl_s?

Setting 6 FDL Codes compared to maybe just 1.

That worked PERFECT!

Now I gotta try NSW_VERBAUT for the fog light delete, but I have no1 here to help me test it , that should disable fog lights u think? Thanks!

All I got left I want to do is

1) Foglight Delete , possibly by NSW_VERBAUT.

2) Default Sport Mode (seems like it's not possible yet)

on KMFRT_SCHLIESSEN

As I wrote above though, NSW_VERBAUT is just my wild ass guess.

Thanks Shawn - I'll stick with what I have now...

Is there any way to create a new driving profile (such as eco, sport) where I can have the throttle response of Eco, but have steering of sport? Or can I edit the eco profile to have sport steering? Thanks.

I will with draw my claim about the window lock doesn't work. Once the window lock is ON, the rear passengers are not able to roll the window UP/Down; however the driver is able to roll all windows up/down regardless of the window lock on or off. Oh And the window lock only works on the rear windows not the front passenger. I learned all of that over this weekend.

Taking into account that I don't need the cable to stay permanently on, I trimmed my cable that the "T" shape is no more stopped on exit (removing the plastic bond between that area and the rest of the connector did the job). It makes the connection less strong, but I never had any issue to remove my cables while it is enough for proper coding.
I was thinking of the same thing , so I went ahead and cut the "T" clip on the cable like in your picture. I'm now able to connect/disconnect the cable a lot easier. The cable can connect to the ODB port pretty securely w/o the clip. Thanks for sharing.

If we knew every single variable that changes when switching from 6NH to 6NK, we could have just manually changed them without changing the FA. We don't, so the easiest and safest way to get the settings changed is to change the FA (temporarily) and VO code HU_CIC and CMB_MEDIA.

As Kon says, the ECU's run from the FDL values, so there is no conflict.

The differences in the FA may or may not cause dealer programming to fail. So the safest thing to do is to revert the FA to the original before taking it in.

If the FA matches, FDL coding changes you made will not cause programming to fail because after uploading new firmware, they just VO the modules back to their FDL defaults anyway. That will simply undo any of the FDL changes you made. You can reapply them when you get the car back.

I'd like to know if you FA was actually written when we VO coded your ECUs.

Can you connect your laptop to the car and re-read the FA? Then see if 6NK is there in the SALAPA elements.

I don't think it will be there (it should still be 6NH), but I guess it's possible that VO coding with the updated VO also forced the FA to get written.

We didn't check that when we coded your car; we did everything in one "session".

Please let us know what's there.
I re-read the FA in the car and and it says 6NK in the SALAPA Elements. So i guess once we do the VO coding and update VO, it also force the FA to get written.

very close guess on NSW_VERBAUT, it disables just the button to turn on the fogs, but the turning of the wheel still illumunates the fogs and on reverse it still turns on the fogs as well..

Any other ideas/suggestions on what to try for the fog disable?

Also, is there a similar millisecond delay timer you can change for instant-rollup rindows on lock just like the folding KMFRT_SCHLIESSEN edit?

Not sure. I would go though FEM and check all the NSW settings. I think I saw a code for cornering in there, but I don't recall seeing a reverse one.

KMFRT_OEFFNEN = Werte 00 for minimum delay opening.

And then there are these too:

KMFRT_OEFF_HINTEN = Werte 00 for minimum delay between front and rear windows on Opening
KMFRT_OEFF_SHD = Werte 00 for minimum delay between the front windows and Moon Roof on Opening
KMFRT_SCHL_VORNE = Werte 00 for minimum delay between front and rear windows on Closing
KOMFORT_SCHL_SHD = Werte 00 for minimum delay between the front windows and Moon Roof on Closing

Anyone know what needs to be coded to have the rear windows go up/down via one click ? The rears aren't automatic for some reason.
