iDrive "Office" features from Android?

I have a Samsung S4 Android phone. With my old Blackberry, I used to be able to access my e-mails and such from the Office menu in iDrive. Now that I use Android, I don't see my e-mails or anything. Is there anything else I can do, or is it another case of BMW lackluster support for Android?

You dont even see your texts?
Ive actually never looked for emails, but on my S4 and S5 I do see texts (listed as messages).

Hi all,

A few days ago I noticed that the source code Android Lollipop for the Samsung S4 online.

I then headed over to XDA forums and downloaded and installed Lollipop. This I done last night. After this I had to reinstall about everything, which I think was due to the method I installed this image. Also had to pair the phone again with the F30.

For the hell of it I tried the Office feature and got a great surprise. My work exchange e-mail is working again. My gmail account is not showing however, but my exchange account does.

If you are adventures and don't want to wait for your carrier to do OTA update for Lollipop then head over to XDA to get the files and guide there.

I have a S4 I9505.

So at this stage it looks to me that Lollipop might solve our problems emails wise. I also lost this ability after moving from Blackberry to Android.

Hope this also works for you.

PS... Please make backups of your phone and data. I have lost my contacts, but managed to sync it back afterwards via my work exchange.

Hi everyone

I have just taken delivery of my X5, and want to get the phone connected, but can't even see an option for office? Could you run through the basics for me, and make sure I have it all configured correctly

Thanks

You just have to pair it. If Office doesn't show that's because your phone is not compatible.
