Introducing Estoril
Sorry guys, this is the first time I've uploaded pictures to a forum. Here she is the morning after the detailing session (all 14.5hrs in total) the day before. The Estoril Blue came alive after the machine polishing etc.
A few iphone pictures the morning after the (detailing) night before. http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/a.../IMG_11271.jpg [IMG][/IMG] Last edited by Estoril1984; 12-10-2012 at 06:04 PM.. |

Do you reckon it needs some EQ tweaking to get the best out of it then? Yeah, I had HK in my 123d (not the same system as only 10 speakers and 300 watts) and turned the Logic 7 processing off, too wishy washy and unnatural for my ears...

While waiting for delivery I read a lot on here about the EQ and L7, some members posted some settings that I tried and I felt it certainly made an improvement. I then adjusted to my own personal taste. I'm sure there is still room for improvement, but I'm more than happy at the mo

Nice Car and colour ( biased obviously ) I "snow foam" mine every wash, it removes loads of muck before you even touch it, so NO swirls.

So is that the 'standard' sunroof!? Hope so looks great. My 320d ED on order (2012 May model though so may be different?) has the sunroof... not seen pics of the top tho lol.

Your sun-roof in a saloon will not be as long.

Can't take the credit for the clean unfortunately, I had a professional detailer carry out winter protection both inside and out. I'd highly recommend it, it's amazing how little the dirt attracts to the car now.

It sure does, so glad I chose this. It's a shame they don't offer the full glass roof.

That looks great in the pics - interested to see the new exhaust trim too. Thinking about that for my car also, but giving some consideration to getting my local SS exhaust fabricator to make one up for me. I'm assuming you changed the rear diffuser for the 328 version so the space available is a bit larger?
Oh, and agree on the detailing front about the dirt falling off the car. I spent all Sunday on mine and it's amazing the difference it makes. |
