Love bimmer, but disappointed with the "rattle" from bass!

I am very satisfied with my 328i M Sport. However, I am VERY disappointed with the HK system that I paid for causing a rattle outside the car. It's embarrassing and sounds like a ghetto chevy with the trunk rattle. The bass sounds good on the inside, but step outside and it rattles bad around the skirts. I know this has been addressed before, but I am venting. Anyone found a solution for this?

I think the only thing that can be done is to remove the skirts and put more 3m tape along the entire length.

Take it to back to the dealer and they can had a special foam to the side skirt which is designed to prevent the rattle when playing music loud

thanks maverick, I will try it. so you just opened your doors and put the foam tape in from the outside? no need to get underneath? can you see the tape or is it hidden? how many places did you have to place it? thanks!

It's completely hidden. And it works a charm! Only placed it in one spot on both sides.

Shimming would be a temporary solution guys... just take it out and line it properly with dynamats. Problem solved.
