F32 W/custom color matched parts

I ordered front/rear reflectors, side vents and M-sport front grills. Took apart the front grills and painted the outer ring. I also painted the reflectors and side vents. Really happy with the way the car looks now. I am patiently waiting for Dinan to release lowering sprigs to get rid of the 4x4 look and still trying to decide on wheels. Windows are tinted 25% all the way around with 3M premium tint.

Nicely done. The side vents, front & rear reflectors in Body color looks so much better. Did you paint the M Performance grills sides in body color ?

Yes. The outer trim ring just snaps off the slats.

You mind posting more photos of the sides so we can see the vents?

Sure didn't, but I can tell you that there are three plugs that the bimmerang snaps into and then another white plastic rivet on the fender.

Right now there a small gap. BMW provides a piece of foam to keep the vent from rattling/water getting into the gap and freezing that will eventually flatten out.

cant wait anymore

could you take some pictures with a little more surrounding?
don't get me wrong, close up shots are welcome, but wider shots give a better impression on the car.

Well now you've done it

I always thought that the air breathers on my F34 would look better in EBII; now I'm certain.

Did you order yours through your dealer or somewhere else (and any reason you didn't just have the existing set removed and painted)?

Take a profile picture head-on so we can see the entire side bumper to bumper.

Thumbs up

Perfectly executed.

I like body color kidneys so much, I have had a Mineral Gray set here waiting for my F30 for a month now!

Actually I’m surprised we don’t see body-color kidneys more often. I think it brings the front together… Visually the look just ‘flows’ better than the black MP grill to my eye.

I really don’t want to sell the look too much… I like my car to be a little different.

I ordered the reflectors and bimmerangs through the dealer and the m performance grills through a vendor on here. I lease so wanted to keep the stock parts stock and didn't want to have the parts off the car for 5 days while the paint and clear coat were drying. The side vents come primed ready for painting. Sanded the reflectors to get rid of the raised lettering and then scuffed all the pieces with 600 grit sandpaper.

This is the only wide angle shot I have. It was 14 degrees out and only had the car out to see how well the newly painted parts matched.

I was hesitant on painting the surrounds to the grills but after photoshopping the body color onto the grills it made up my mind. You are right about the front "flowing" better.

How did you actually get the bimmerangs off?
