Retrofit set for f30 cic nav pro

Hi
Just order an f30 328i.
The car will come with the 6.5" screen.
Can somebody advise where I can order an retrofitted cic nav professional with the 8.8" screen?
I have combed the Internet - eBay, amazon etc with no luck.
There are cic for e90, f20 but not the f30.

Thanks

this.

it's gonna cost you way more in parts, labor and aggravation to retrofit it.

Brother, re-order. I'd do it for you no problem if you ordered it from me (you can guess what I do). Not in your best interest cost or warranty-wise. Probably cost you 3 times more than tech package and only 1 year warranty vs. 4.

The OP is from Singapore, likely due to taxation it's extremely expensive if ordered with the car.
For me if retrofit is available it'll likely cost 50% of the price if ordered with the car.
For most markets there's only a 2yr warranty.

I hear the car alone with no options is like SGD$200,000 or something in Singapore. How much more is it with the Navi?

For me, mine came with the premium package and it's $3500 more.

I have ordered from a local parallel importer which only comes with 6.5" LCD.
Reason why I chose to go with PI instead of agent is because the agent does not being in sports line for 328i. Sport line is only available for 335.

328i with PI cost 220k Sgd. AD will be excess of 230k with luxury line only.

^ Holyhell...mother of moses. I could pick up a mint Ferrari for that price or a brand new Audi R8.

Heck, could buy a new Cessna 172SP.

220k SGD = 177k USD

Actually, that's not true. The BMW authorized distributor/agent (Performance Motors Limited, or PML) DOES bring in the 328i in sports line. I think that the initial batch or 2 that PML brought in were only the Luxury lines, but they did start bringing in the Sports line ones pretty quickly thereafter. The sports lines are pretty popular since it only costs S$730 more than Luxury line, whereas just adding sports seats alone to a luxury line would set you back by at least S$2,000 (as charged by PML).

AFAIK, PML are not bringing in any Modern lines, unless someone specially orders it (i.e. Indent orders).

I've ordered my 328i sport line from PML on 22 Feb, and if I hadn't wanted a few very specific options (HK sound, lumbar support, rear camera, etc.), I would have been able to buy one of PML's Sports line pre-orders which were due to come into Singapore within the next few weeks/months (i.e., probably collected it by now). But because I wanted those options, I had to indent my car...it'll go into production next month.

What you say about the price of the 328 from PML being higher than the parallel importer is true, though. PML is around S$15,000 more expensive than the parallel importer.

But the 8" screen (with Nav Professional) comes standard on all PML's 328's though!!

Hi,

Mind sharing how much you pay for your ride with all the options you mentioned? Very interested minus the waiting time!

I know, I wish I could have done it "minus the waiting time" too! I ordered mine before the official launch (during the private viewing period for existing 3-series owners), so it came to S$222,000 with my options.

Yeah, it's really tough seeing all the options available and not going "I want this." and "I want that..." and "Oh, yeah, that too!". When you get your car, let me know how HUD is and whether you really feel it's indispensable after you've used it for a bit. I was tempted by it, but didn't think that my normal usage would justify it.

I have a mineral grey exterior with black interior and aluminum plus black trim. Yeah, no red trim, thanks.

The wait is killin' me!!

You can probably try ELEBEST in Singapore. They seems to be retrofitting F10 6.5" screen with the latest 10.2" CIC system... may not be available immediately, but eventually

So how much did you pay for yours? Is it the Luxury or Sport line?
