I have some questions:
Why does the Sport Line cost less for the 335i vs 328i ($1700 vs $2500)? What is the difference between the regular 8-speed auto and the sport 8-speed auto ($500 option), besides the paddles? Is it just paying extra $500 for two paddles? I'm very disappointed that to get xenons on the 328i I have to get ZPP for $3,600. Of course, I'm 2-3 years from buying a new car, so I hope BMW re-schuffles the options until then. These are the must have options for me: Sport Line = $2,500 Heated front seats and heated steering wheel = $690 Metallic paint (still undecided on color, must see in person) = $550 Xenons = $900* (*if I can get it without ZPP) ZPS = $950* (if I cannot get Xenons) Total for 328i = $40,435 - 40,485 |

328 paint sport leather ZPS $41145 i really wanted xenons but not for an additional 3k. I think im going to save some weight with new power seats, moonroof, and other unnecessary things. Really wish xenons were a standalone option.

On black interior, I can't tell the difference between leatherette and leather. My friend has an X5 with leatherette and I like it, so I wont be wasting $1,450 on it. BTW, I'm curious to see how much the M-sport package would cost. I might opt for it instead of the Sport Line. I'm thinking it would probably be around $3,000. Don't you want to wait for the M-sport? |

Personally I would put the 328's premium package cost of $3,600 towards a 335i and skip the premium package there since the important items in the 328 package are already included in the 335i. Then the 335i is only $3,900 dollars more and you get better looking standard model 18" wheels.

This is the way the e90 should have been from the start, or at least from the LCI.

What's the price for the adaptive cruise control with stop/go? From everything I've read so far it was supposed to be offered as an option, but alas I seem to have missed the pricing for it...
Either way, a fully loaded 328i is $50,000 and a 335i is $55,500? |

I think they should have included the Xenon (for 328i) in the Premium Package since they included comfort access. Mercedes C250 (base price $34,800, 201 hp) is in real trouble against the base price of 328i ($34,900, 240hp). But then again... the C350 is cheaper by $2,000 compared to the 335i ($40,575 against $42,400)

2. Not having pretty much the only mass produced engine that regularly leaves the owner stranded, as if it's 1980s again. 3. Likely a substantially lower OTD price considering discounts. 4. Not feeling the turbo. I'm being a Devil's advocate here, but I would not write off the C class that way. It's a decent car that has more going for it than just he badge, especially with the new interior that is really fantastic. |

YES!! I'm so happy that BMW finally got into "bang/buck" economics. There's only so far anyone can go with the alá carte jokes. I'm sure there are other competitors that have more value but BMW is doing the right thing here. I am a little bummed that I won't be able to exactly have my car the way I want, but it'll be awfully damn close.
