Exclamation Vorsteiner 103 easily chips :(

Hey everyone I recently bought a set of Vorsteiner VFF103 rims.
I just have to give a review since ive had them for about 3 months now.

I love these rims first off, look and weight of them are awesome!
I only get compliments from enthusiasts ever light i pull up to..

What erks me is they chip so bloody easily.
Couple weekends ago I decided to give the the rims a through cleaning and in doing so i was so shocked to find chips all over my new rims

After looking closer at the chips i noticed the finish on them isnt quite that thick and not as high end as I thought they would be after all the reading about their uniqueness before I purchased them.

Ive contacted Vorsteiner to let them know about the quality and experience during my short experience with them.
Im hoping this is an isolated case and that theyll be good with handling my complaint.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I agree ever since upgrading to these, you get compliments each time you pull up to a petrol station.

Haven't had any issues with mine yet or maybe it's not as noticeable since mine are finished in Mystic Black. Hopefully it's a one off case and Vorsteiner can replace or repair it.

Good Luck

Are your wheels in the Mercury Silver finish. Are they 19s?

I am trying to find 19" FF103s for my F30 in that color and was told by Vorsteiner that they only make them in carbon graphite and black. Where do you buy yours? Thanks.

Mine are carbon graphite....
I bought them off of getyourwheels.com

Great company had my wheels shipped to Canada in a short period of time, based off of my experience i highly recommend them.

be curious to see how they handle it. that is unacceptable especially for what they charge for their wheels.

agreed!
when they responded to my email to inquire more details they stated this was normal wear and tear.... I did remind them at their price point I wouldn't expect these to chip so easily.
I have a set of cheapy MB rims for the winter which have already seen 3 seasons and have maybe 3 smaller chips in them which are less noticeable than the ones on the Vorsteiners.

That's interesting. I have a carbon graphite as well and I had mine since March of this year. I still haven't seen any chip marks on my wheels.
