It appears some retrofit shops will code the "Office" functionality into the F30 as this appears to be a simply activation function. I haven't seen anything in the cheat sheet. Am I missing something?

Just coded some new options and wanted to share with everyone.

#1. This will change the delay between the front & rear windows going up & down when using the key fob or comfort access(door handle)

OPEN
FEM BODY / 3053 PwMaster / KOMFORT_OEFF_HINTEN / "lower Werte to desired amount"
FEM BODY / 3053 PwMaster / KOMFORT_OEFF_SHD / "lower Werte to desired amount"

CLOSE
FEM BODY / 3053 PwMaster / KOMFORT_SCHL_VORNE / "lower Werte to desired amount"
FEM BODY / 3053 PwMaster / KOMFORT_SCHL_SHD / "lower Werte to desired amount"

*** I lowered to 01 which basically makes them go up/down together with very little delay****

#2. This will shorten the time you need to hold the trunk button on the fob for it to open

FEM BODY / 30D0 RemoteControl / RC_TIME_DELAY_BOOTLID / "lower Werte to desired amount"

*** I lowered to 01 for instant open upon button press ***

#3. Turns on the fog lights with the welcome lights (left & right have separate headings)

LEFT
FEM BODY / 3063 LceLampMapping2 / MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_L_PART_OF_WL / select "soft_on" or "hard_on"

RIGHT
FEM BODY / 3063 LceLampMapping2 / MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_R_PART_OF_WL / select "soft_on" or "hard_on"

Have Fun!!!

It may be country specific, but take a look here:

http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showpo...1&postcount=45

Your phone will need to have some kind of personal hotspot feature to share it's mobile internet connection.

For the welcome lights, have you tried changing them to soft on? I may try that for all although I'm not sure the LED's would ramp up.

Error- file not found

Hi all. Getting all set to start coding and started downloading the files. I have an F30 and planned to use 46.6. I began downloading. Seems like Part 8 through 18 are coming up with File Not Found errors. Any advice?
Thanks

I thought about it but decided against because of the LED's. I have changed all of my bulbs out and i have the corona rings so i didn't think they would respond well to that. I think I'm going to add the reverse lights to the welcome as well. might as well light up the entire area!

My car has the bi-xexons but i didn't get the visibilty pack so i dont have the adaptive lights with cornering function. I was wondering if it could be coded.

I found in the FEM BODY > 3073LaMaster1,FC > C_AFS_ENA >

Kommentar=Switch to enable AFS (adaptive Lichtverteilung)
Kommentar: Wird ueber die Lichtverteilungsbotschaft an Scheinwerfer-SGs uebermittelt. Lichtverteilung 0-15. Beinhaltet sowohl alte und neue Lichtverteilungen. Die Unterscheidung ob alte/neue Architektur mit 7/15 Verteilungen erfolgt ueber die Steuerung der AFS-Lookup-Tabels.
AFS -> EIN = 1
AFS -> AUS = 0
Voraussetzung: FLC und BLC

I enabled this AFS as it was disabled. It says a pre-requisite is FLC and BLC. FLC was already enabled but BLC not so I enabled that. (C_BLC_ENA)

I also found FEM BODY > 3073LaMaster1,FC > C_CLC_ENA >
Kommentar=Switch to enable CLC (Abbiegelicht)
CLC-> EIN=1
CLC-> AUS=0
Voraussetzung: BLC

I enabled this CLC as it was disabled. It says also BLC is pre-requisite.

So I made all these changes and has no noticeable effect (although it was day light) anyone any ideas. I figured the hardware may be there perhaps not?

Also coded off the auto start stop - works a treat

Update: I got the corning lights to work (cornering lights via fogs for turns)

I'm not sure if the main headlight function for the curve lights is working though - does this only work above a certain speed? Need to do more testing...

In my car they seem work at a standstill. An easy way to see this at night is to have the wheel turned, and then to shift into reverse. The lights will straighten up when reversing so the movement of the beam is clearly visible.

Raspartan is right..they will turn while stopped. I would imagine there is hardware needed to make it work. It seems that it would be very costly to BMW to include that hardware on every car with xenons without charing for it.

do you lights move up and down when the car is first started? Its part of the leveling function that they do upon start up. You would probably need to point the car towards a wall and have the light in the "on" function and not auto. Im not sure but if they don't go up and down i would bet they won't turn either.

You are in comfort mode. You need to be in expert mode to code.

Select the Expert Mode button on the left, and then the Coding square.

Yes maybe its different hardware. Mine have the vertical leveling function and i figured there must be horizontal adjustment to set up the F30 for left or right hand drive use but maybe thats manual. However cant find anything so far to activate adaptive lights..
Might need to compare values with someone who's got it.

OK here goes. Its not that straightforward as after more testing it seems that you have to have all of these following enabled. All in FEM BODY.

C_CLC_ENA (switch to F30 enable from Fxx disabled)
C_BLC_ENA (switch to F30 enable from Fxx disabled) this is a pre-requisite for above CLC in the notes.
KL_ENABLE_LI (switch to EIN from AUS)
KL_ENABLE_RE (switch to EIN from AUS)
MAPPING_ABBIEGEL_L_OUTPUT (switch to nsw_l from off)
MAPPING_ABBIEGEL_R_OUTPUT (switch to nsw_r from off)
As usual back up your original settings and make notes of any changes.

Currently only seems to work on autolights setting in car - perhaps someone can confirm if thats normal?

Do you have the adaptive headlights functional?
