From EVO X to 335i
After 4 and some years with the EVO X, decided to move on to something else. Initially was looking into a used 4-door M3, but relatively low-mileage ones were practically non-existant. Looked also at used C63 and S4, but finally found a great deal on a new 2012 335i Sport (Grey, 8-speed auto with 15km!).
I still can't push the car yet (Break-in period), but I'm very happy with the purchase. Compared to the EVO: + Very comfortable + Low end power + Gaz mileage is great, relatively speaking + Made for grown-ups - Steering: feels numb compared to the EVO - Less agile: EVO was way more tossable - Seats: don't hold you as much |

Thanks. Can't wait to be able to push that engine.
Agree, front plates have no place on those round bumpers! |

Thanks mrbob. It's the 8-speed AT, my first "Auto" box. Had a 06 STi back in the days and a 08 Evo X just before, both Manual of course.
How's that M-Package treating you? can you post some pics? I was gonna get that too, but the deal I got on my car (New 2012) was too good to pass on and pay that much more to get a 2013 with the M-package, plus my car has the 704 M-suspension. Would love to have those 400M wheels on my car though . |
