Yep, that's why I got those shots. Straight from VPC that way. Not sure if they are installed there or not yet.

No just little indents where the screws go. We're hoping that since these are first production units, that this plate holder will disappear on later builds.

57K for the 335? Just looking at that hurts a little. After taxes, is that 60K? I guess it's fully loaded though

lol part of the reasons why we went to an E70 X5 instead of a regular 3 or 5 series when our daughter was born (we had an E46 M3 at the time but found we really needed a sedan instead of coupe because of the limited room for a carseat and such). We truly hated the tail lights of that series, but these are really nice again

Wow, those cars are pretty loaded with options....too many I must say. What are the options on the 3rd car? My guess is that is pretty loaded too....And this is in Colorado, not Beverly Hills CA.

I wonder what the dealers in IL will get......

The cars at my local dealer were pretty loaded as well, BMW is really trying to show all the bells and whistles. 335 at my dealer was 56K

That does seem a bit steep, I got my E92 fully loaded for about $52k out the door. But I guess being so new and with the demand they can charge the premium. For that amount I'd be tempted to look an F10 though...

Or BMW is trying to capitalize on the fact that many people will try to grab (or are in desperate need of) the first models at the dealerships and therefore make as much money in the beginning as possible.

I'm just so happy I'm not in a need of a car for another 2 years. When my time comes, I'll bargain the hell out of the car I want. At the end if I don't get what I want for the price I want, I'm walking away to the next thing. I've never been loyal to any brand and will never be....I'd like to drive a BMW but I don't need to drive a BMW...if you know what I mean.

Ususally its to be able to showcase all the new features to customers. Alot of dealers try not to even sell their lauch cars right away so they are able to display them and walk customers through etc.
