BMW CCA LA - pics

Was fun out there. My no line 328i was a blast to drive. Good turn in, good exit. Tires could have been better (I took the all season fun flats). Instructor on here took me for a spin in my own car and it was a whole lot faster.

thanks. My goal for next time is smoother braking per my evaluation. And I need to shift next time. The auto 8 in DS mode did quite well shifting on its own. Only downside is that it was in wrong gears on a few turns and the downshift lag/jerk on exit.

Got one of you. hah

WE NEED MORE F30's out there. We were the only two. Trust me this soft, body rolling big body car is capable out there. lol.

Nice!

Does your No Line have the standard suspension?

standard suspension with all season run flats. instructor ran my car with traction control off and pushed it hard and it still had good grip. anything on top of that would be that much more fun.

Great looking car; I think I've really come around to thinking that no-line is actually the best looking. The front bumper really looks aggressive without the whiskers. M sport is cool, but a little stale; sport line and luxury have those whiskers; but no line looks just right! Thanks for the great pictures.

Looks great but wheels are crap. I personally love the sport. But I didn't have time to wait on one when I got the car. Mine has comfort premium tech xenon and self parking. So a lot of things for a no line. Thanks for the complements. It drives great though. Gonna get tires and pads for the next session.

Nice work. I personally have a lot more fun driving a car that's not optimal on track than I do one that is. That's when you really hone your abilities and learn the most. It's relatively easy to drive a car with endless grip and stop-the-rotation-of-the-earth brakes. It's not quite as easy with a car that's a bit low on power/grip/braking ability.

That said, everything BMW builds is track worthy right out of the box. Hop in and go. Keep it up!

Bingo. I always just shake my head when I get a brand new student with zero seat time who's driving a fully prepared car on slicks. It's easy to do something that's easy!

Although there are the exceptions. Fast on straights only. Let me pass! Or I'll just keep pushing.

I didn't have any pics, and I didn't buy any from CaliPhotography. But I do have video. Hope I'll have time tonight to edit and put it up.
