Exactly, they still make great cars but they are obviously moving in a direction that will result in more sales but less passion

In 2011 my e90 was $52k while the same equipped e92 was $53k here at bellevue bmw. I am just basing my figures on the window sticker at the time. I just don't understand how a f30 fully loaded is $59k yet the same car minus two doors is $64k. $5k more, why is that.

Do a blue book value on a 2011 e90 vs 2011 e92 the difference is about $600 between the two cars equipped the same.

Lol does anyone take Jeremy clarkson seriously? To me he's the god of tongue-in-cheek humor and sarcasm, but I would take anything he says about cars with some salt.

coming from someone like Jeremy Clarkson this is a very good review for the 4 series, considering he called the X6 the most ugliest BMW and X5 a piece of junk compared to the rangerovers (Whatever).

"Boring" was a criticism made of the 335i in 2006 by most of the UK press also.

TBH its probably true, but that doesn't mean there isnt a market for the car.

335i's have a big following and FWIW I think the 435i will too. It's an old school Q-car, a sleeper, like the old E30 M3 used to be.

The M3 is visually shouty these days, so the 335/435 fills the old niche nicely.

All in all, I agreed with his assessment - it isn't for everyone, but those who it is aimed at will love it.

So basically its a great car at being functional but does little for the senses.

Sounds like a stylish family car with just a bit of scruff. Def not for me

Wow, my 2012 E92 was $54k, fully loaded. M package, Premium pkg, Winter pkg, pretty much every box checked when I ordered it. I had no idea pricing varied so much from state to state.

I was referring to an E9X M3, not a 328/330/335 (..please see the post that I was responding to ). An M3 without any options starts where your fully loaded 335i left off.

There is a direct correlation between intelligence and the ability to dissect and comprehend sarcasm. There is also a direct correlation between stupidity and how easily someone is offended. He is not intended for a dumb and/or sensitive audience.

Everything he says hits the nail perfectly on the head.

I specified an M3 without options. Every M3's base price is the same the U.S.; options no longer make it a base M3.

+1

I was thinking about the M5 review when I read the first few paragraphs praying it had a good ending
