Well the ship will arrive at port on 11/23, so I'm guessing first week of December if we're lucky.

I also track the vessel through marinetraffic.com but the info is quite random once the vessel is in Atlantic Ocean. AIS system is only accurate when vessels are nearby coast.

Also according to marinetraffic, Asian King will arrive Baltimore on 11/22 evening so our cars may get a taste of our turkey dinner.

As bnekic said, the earliest would be first week of December. The VPC in Baltimore is a little bit packed right now due to Hurricane Sandy, lots of cars from NJ VPC were redirected to Baltimore VPC. Some guys on this forum said their cars had sat at Baltimore VPC for 10 days waiting for truck transport.

Fine with me as I can't seem to get marrinetraffic.com to work for me. It usually says last update was days ago and on the occasion it has a recent position and I try to zoom in on the map, it disappears. I think the site has some bugs or it doesn't like Safari or Chrome.

I am also using Chrome and I found out that I can only get the recent update in the morning and outdated update in the evening.

Another update is that the ETA has moved to 11/22 3pm, 5 hours earlier than previous ETA.

The updates are great, I'm glad you guys are as excited as I am!

So I saw in another thread that some people's cars have been sitting at Baltimore for 2 weeks. That would be frustrating!

Asian King is roughly 800 miles from port. Traveling at 18 mph that would put it at about 45 hours away.

Seems like there are still some people that are having long delays at Baltimore VPC due to backups there. Hope we're not among them. Do you guys know if the VPC's operate 7 days a week or just business days?

I know ports are 24/7 but I am not so certain on the VPC, especially it's thx giving week.

On the other thread some said they had waited 2 weeks for a shipping truck and some said their cars had been waiting in line at VPC for over 2 weeks. I would say the later makes more sense as several vessels were redirected to Baltimore after Hurricane Sandy.
