Oops, I guess I'm not just late to the party, but I stumbled upon an private party to which I wasn't invited! :

I didn't know about the specific M Performance Edition -- just thought this thread was about ppl who ordered the M Performance Packages (ZHD & ZHE).

Lol...it's all good brother...I did not mean to scare you away...like someone else said, some people have cancelled their orders for cars that are already in transit...so if you're interested in getting one of these puppies, check with your dealer asap. :-)

I gave up the possibility of the rear wheel drive since it may or may not be produced in February.

Instructed my rep to find whatever glacier silver on red m performance edition xdrive in canada unspoken for and have it brought in at whatever cost.

New agreement signed, car will be here next week.

Most stressful car purchase ever, completely due to production issues in Germany. I hear x1,x3, and x5 are also completely stopping production for a couple of months.


Many many thanks to the rep, managers, owner of t&c bmw who became involved in this deal as well as the regional manager and bmw canada.

That's sounds like a plan. Yup. The Lexus is already sold. . This is my first BMW.

It looks like its real. My SA just called today and said they have the car in the dealership. Hey just need 48 hours for prep so it look like I will have it no later than Tuesday! I can't wait to see it.

Congrats, seems you'll be getting yours sooner than me

Only reason i ask about the Lexus is cause i too am coming from a 2008 GS350 AWD.

Had great times with it and was featured on the Vossen website, but recently there have been a lot of small issues that i'm getting tired of.

Also my first BMW.

^^^very nice. My car should be here any day now as well. But now I heard from my dealer that some of these cars were built with the "adaptive" suspension instead of the M Performance and did not tell anyone of the change. I just hope mine is not one of them.
