Pad Removal on Center Console Arm Rest

Anyone have instructions for removing the Pad on the Center Console Arm Rest?

Do NOT mean removing the entire structure with hinges.

Just the Pad.

After a lot of searching, there are some references to removing the Pad by releasing the bolt/clips on the underside. But those look pretty secure and different than other BMW assemblies.

Anyone help? Pictures would be great!

Thanks.

Lots of places do Leather work besides BMW, especially in your area of South Florida.

Bottom line, even with new pad, you still need to take pad off assembly.

Those pieces you circled are rubber stops so the lid will close nicely without marring the console. I just checked mine and looks like they will pull out, but not sure without breaking the rubber piece what is underneath it. Makes sense there were some screws under there, but never know.
