well an RS5 is in that price bracket...

My impressions:
- front headlights are nice - as with F30 they make the car look wider which is a good thing. Also, they seem to be more refined than the current headlights on F30.
- tail lights are much better looking than F30, they are sexier and refined - they also make the car look wider.
- exterior mirrors will probably change as they are not foldable. I don't think the production version will have the exact same exterior mirrors
- the door handles will probably change as well - they look better, but they are not as "user friendly" as the ones from the current production models
- front and rear bumpers are probably from the M-Sport package. Most likely the "base" version will not look that sporty and aggressive. They seem to be a just a little over-done. Otherwise they give the car quite a good appearance.
- interior leather is from the "Individual" package and probably will cost around 4K - 4.5K to get it. Personally I dislike it, but I know a lot of people who will love it and pay the price for it. The "base" model version will probably have pretty much the same interior styling as F30 with a few minor/subtle changes.

Overall, I like it a lot. It is BMW's answer to Audi A5/S5. Now it is better, though not a lot better, but we'll see what Audi brings in 2-3 years when they do the same refresh to their model.

THIS is the future of cars, and BMW has made the first move and i believe every automaker will follow their futuristic, stylized design queue from here on out.

It looks great.

They need to bring out the new upgraded inline-6 with power upgrade close to 355hp minimum.

I hope they also fix the electric steering software to where it has more sort of natural feedback and feel.

Last but not least they need to open up the inline-6 so it can scream a bit more with aggressive induction and exhaust noises. Also, fix the stumbling rubbish start stop feature of F30 sedans.

Call me a heretic but

1. I think the new F(xx) models are fugly
2. I think this looks like a Kia Optima which is ironic because i believe they copied their grill from the BMW kidney grill

Overall the exterior is pretty much just what we expect, and the interior is heavily influenced by the 6 Series GC.
Yes it is indeed BMW Individual Interior and so exquisite great design and material!

Perhaps Jason can give us a feel for the cost ? Jason?

I actually think this is the Sport version aka Sport line.

M Sport should look more M Sport-ish.

Great looking set of wheels BTW Reminds me of a 3D steam / gas turbine blade lovely!

Anyone knows the BMW Style Number for this wheel?

The squared/straight/open ring headlights and tail lights is a start. When I first saw the pictures, that was the first thing I thought of.

4 Series

I love the concept, hopefully the final version does not change much. The interior is obviously not going to make it, but I don't see any reason why the outside could not make it intact. The fenders are pretty flared, which may mean that this becomes the M4 and the 4 series is a bit more slender.

One thing is for sure, the M4 Grand Coupe may be the one to replace my F10 5 series in a couple of years. The F10 has become so big and heavy that the 4 GC may be the one for me.

Can wait to see how it develops.

looking good, but boomerang gotta go.. and what's with the stitching right in the thigh area? looks uncomfortable to sit on, but this will not be present in production regular seats.
Nice job BMW.. Hopefully 2 series will look very similar, that's what's on my radar.
M4 should up the looks of the 4er even more - will be fantastic..

Sorry not a fan. Front bumper, side vents, the interior - All look ugly to me. Also bigger and chunky like a 6 series.

Overall I love this design - one sexy car.
On the concept it does look like a reversed Hoffmeister Kink, but on the spy pic of the production car, its too watered down too small, if we have to live with it, keep it like it is on the concept...

WOW that's some fugly bumpers.

I can't also can't get over the Honda-like center console of the new models.

Also larger in pretty much every respect compared to the E92 coupe. Probably is going to be heavier too.

That's progress?

Such awkward proportions up front... Another front end ruined by the (*&#% EU Pedestrian Safety requirements.

As Sam Kinison would have said - "We have traffic here too... WE DON'T WALK IN IT."

<grumble>

The whole line-up is slowly getting killed by these huge noses.
