wow talk about delays. I was to take delivery the last week of Dec. according to BMW stats. but the holidays ,poor weather and then more delays. Looks like the Don Juan vessel that my 435 is on.will be unloaded today. then loaded onto a car carrier next week. dealer got the email from BMW stating delivery to them will be no later than Feb 3rd. No big deal but, this has been a wild ride.good things come to those who ,well you know. I will post the next update.

I am also in NY. MY car production was completed on 1/17/14 about the same as yours. It arrived at the port of exit on 1/25. Their was a ship leaving for NY on 2/1/14, don't know if the car made the ship. Their is another ship leaving for NY on 2/3/14, but that one is making more stops and arrives a week after the first ship. As a general rule ships leave for NY about once a week. What are the last 3 digits of your VIN, I might be able to give you some more info

I don't know what my VIN number is but I will contact my CA tomorrow and ask him along with the status of my car.

My car completed production on 1/25 in Germany. My car is going to Los Angeles, any guess which ship it'll be on?

Hope I get it before mid-march, that's when I have to give my leased vehicle back!

From what I gather, all SA cars go to Bremerhaven first, then move ships to west coast bound vessel.

When is the next SA to Bremerhaven ship scheduled to depart?

Anyone else have an SA build coming to US west coast?

I assume by SA you mean South Africa. In looking at my VIN, it looks like it's being built at the Regensburg plant in Germany.

I think all 6MT are built in Germany. Is that what you ordered?

Most other 3 series seem to be SA builds.

Interesting, my BMW isn't a manual, I got the sport transmission with the flappy paddles.

I'm hoping, fingers crossed, to get the car by the end of the month...it's only been a week since I placed my order and the wait is already killing me.

Just got word my car left Bremerhaven on Feb 1. Should take 25-26 days to reach the west coast.

Looks like I'm on Volans Leader (NYK line) headed for Port Hueneme on the west coast. I couldn't find a schedule for Port Hueneme, but I see that it arrives in San Diego on 2/25 according to this site: http://www.sdmis.org/schedule/

En-route to Bremerhaven, allow a couple of days for it to arrive to port via train then it'll be on the next boat to Baltimore. So far my CA has done a tremendous job in keeping me in the loop, especially since bmwusa.com and calling their 1-800 number isn't particularly helpful at all and appears to update very slowly. The 1-800 number claims that my car hasn't even started production yet while the webpage shows my car as in production.
