ICM Module/ 3000 Daten/ IcmKod_B_Sportlenkung/ verbaut
ICM/IcmKod_B_S2TBA -> verbaut
EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter_alt -> aktiv
EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter -> aktiv

and got a Chassis stabilization error, althought it went away when i restarted the car. I dont feel a difference in the shifts

Not sure why you haven't experienced a difference. I did this a month ago and today after resetting my ecu I drove it for the first time since I had changed it (ie. w/o SAT). It was a huge difference, especially in manual mode. In manual mode on mine the shifts are almost instant and hit hard.

Yes.
I have activated sport gearbox via coding only one parameter
EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter -> aktiv

I have no shift pads and I have no errors on EGS about shift pads absence.

You can see a difference in drive with sport or manual mode by yourself.


PS. Sport gearbox and Spor+ are different things. Both can be activated via coding together or separately.

You need to code
EGS 3000 SPORTSHALTER >aktiv
EGS 3000 LC >aktiv
You need I-step ISTA/P 2.50.4 F020-13-07-506 or newer.

To start with LC you need:
1. Warm motor and transmission (run over 10 km)
2. Push DSC OFF buton or use Sport+ mode
3. Push gearshift to S/M position
4. Push brake pedal
5. Push throttle pedal to kickdown
6. You can see LC icon (checkered flag) on dashboard
7. Do not turn steering wheel
8. Release brakes no late then 3 sec expired. Throttle pedal is still pushed.

You can make the next start with LC within 5 min or more.

so after realizing i forgot to code Sportschalter to aktiv, i can confirm I was able to successfully code SAT and it works.

I notice it more on the 1-2-3 shifts...not so much in the higher gears. never the less its cool and I see what gears I am in in DS mode

Hi Everyone- I tried coding to have my mirrors fold in/out when locking/unlocking using the fob or comfortaccess locking/unlocking. Didn't work... Maybe I'm using an outdated F30 cheat sheet for my 2014...? Can anyone post what to code to confirm? I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I have completed lots of successful coding in my F30 but now want to complete a couple of my wife's F20.

Question: does it have the capability to VO code Enhanced Blue Tooth?

It's a 2012/08 build
Currently has 6NH (BT Phone with USB interface)
BMW Professional CD (entry level system?)
No Nav

As follows:

S663A Radio BMW Professional
S6AAA BMW TeleServices
S6ABA Control for Teleservices
S6NHA Hands-free with USB interface

I don't know enough about the F20 to physically check for a COMBOX - does this make a difference with the above spec?

If I can code, which model do I select on VIN connect - assuming I can used the same software/hardware as I do the for F30.

Any other tips welcome, I have the coding bug!

If you see a CMB_MEDIA ECU on the SVT on E-sys, then that means you can code EBT to it without issue.

I believe your wife's vehicle does have a telematics combox so it shouldn't be a problem changing it to 6NK.

How do I check the istep, and how do I update it? Also what kickdown?

Kickdown is a a method of changing gear in a car with automatic transmission, by fully depressing the accelerator.

I mean you should fully depress the accelerator pedal to click the kickdown switch.

I thought so to, but if it is we don't have it - just the battery and fuse box (unless its hidden beneath).

I don't want to code and screw something up by not having a combox!

There's hope yet, this suggests the part at least exists - looks like it may be in the side panel.

My I-step is F020-13-03 however i can find the related codes in esys. Even though the codes exist, are you sure that i can't use launch control with this I-step?

The LC parameter exist in EGS in 0313 and early 0713 I-steps.
But it doesn't work.
