Is the E90 BMW CD Stacker compatible with the F30 328i?

About to collect a new F30 328i M Sport with professional nav system. However I presently have a 2008 E90 with a six stack BMW CD Stacker. The dealer tells me that the old cd changer is not compatible with the F30. Does any know of this is true or not?

I would suggest it's not compatible mate.

Convert all of your CDs to MP3 files and then copy them onto a USB thumb drive and use it instead. Much better than limiting yourself to 6 CDs at a time.

But you can plug and play your 8-track.
