Instant Coolant Loss
Original Thread w/ Info: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1890171
In short, the smaller reservoir tank for the intercooler almost seems to 'vacuum' coolant below the 'min' line from max in about 20 seconds after starting the car. I have not seen any amount of coolant actively spilling out the bottom of the car, so the coolant seems to be going somewhere... other than the radiator being pretty bumped up from debris, where can all this coolant be going to? I don't want to drown the actual cylinders. I don't think the system is just so empty that I actually have to fill it up and let it fill up the coolant lines because my car only has 28000 miles.

Same, mine had about 28,000 miles when I had the mysterious small tank coolant drop.
