Erase iDrive data when returning a BMW lease?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey guys,

My new M3 should be at the dealer in the next couple of weeks so that means that tomorrow I am starting the process of cleaning (removing child seat) of my F30 which I am returning to the dealer. Here is my question: do you guys erase all iDrive data, mainly addresses and home address or just un-pair your phone?

Thanks!

Delete all personal data and wipe down all finger prints and DNA traces. Next owner may use your old leased car to commit crime in Mexico. Federal agents will ought to get you if something serious comes out of the investigation.

Delete it all. There's any option on the idrive menu for it.

Our CPO "inspected" 528 still had the previous owners' phones paired and their music collection. And an insurance card in the owners manual.
