Hey guys, yesterday I was driving on map1 and felt the car stronger than usual but after few pulls it started a little struggle, I took a log and found it hit 22 psi on map 1 !!! what should I change as obviously I can't stay at this psi with the fuel I use (RON92+octane) 91 U.S

I uploaded the log as well

Can't really help you, but what exactly do you mean by "it started a little struggle"?

This is most likely detonation or preignition, both very bad. I would talk to BMS on why you are seeing boost spike. Drive the car easy until this is figured out.

Did you save a pic of the log?

Might be issue with not quality fuel, and what was the outside temperature?

Quality of fuel is not going to cause boost spike. I'm not sure what would cause this beside faulty components, this is why my recommendation was to seek assistance from BMS. You should check out the components associated with the turbo/boost as well.

The first point of diagnoses would be to remove the tune.

It could be that or a lack of EWG control. You may overboost every once and a while without the EWG control, but I've never heard of it on Map 1. Then again with all the info out there who knows. Emailing Terry directly is definitely you best bet

I emailed Terry, he said "It's only over target about a psi or so, and the throttle is proportionally closed. So not a big deal" but he told me to set FF to 0 and see if it helps, that was a bit comforting I took a log after setting FF to 0 and car is different I am not sure yet if it's better till I drive the car in morning in warm weather. he also said octane has nothing to do with overboost and EWG specific board will help in my situation. anyway here is a log he said it's fine now.. thanks a lot Terry

Strange, I can't read your 2. log for some reason, it's almost missing all data..
Is it just me?
